[Safety Initiatives] August 2026 Monthly Driver Safety Education Session

株式会社ひかり（HIKARI CO., LTD.）では、お客様に安心・安全で高品格な移動空間をご提供するため、毎月すべての乗務員を対象とした「月例安全教育」を実施しております。今月は8月7日に8月度の講習を開催いたしました。
At HIKARI CO., LTD., we conduct a mandatory “Monthly Driver Safety Education Session” for all our professional chauffeurs every month to ensure we deliver the safest, most reliable, and premium transportation experience. Our session for this month was successfully held on August 7th.

As a licensed commercial operator, our pursuit of zero accidents is an ongoing commitment. Beyond daily pre-drive inspections and briefings (Tenko), these monthly sessions serve as the core pillar of our safety operations—allowing our team to reset their safety mindset, align on protocols, and uphold the highest standards of professional driving.

近年の交通ニュース・事故事例に基づくリスク管理
弊社の月例教育における最大の特色は、直近で発生した実際の交通ニュースや事故事例をタイムリーに取り上げ、重点的に分析・指導を行っている点です。

今月の研修では、夏季の特有のリスクである「突然の豪雨による视界不良時の安全確保」「高温下でのタイヤトラブル防止」に加え、全国で報じられた最新の事故要因（交差点での右左折時の安全確認不足や高速道路での車速管理等）をケーススタディとして全乗務員で共有いたしました。他人事ではなく「自らの運行にどう活かすか」を一人ひとりがディスカッションし、再発防止策を徹底いたしました。
Risk Management Based on Recent Traffic News & Incident Analysis
A key feature of our monthly curriculum is the timely integration and analysis of recent national traffic incidents and news reports.

During the August 7th session, alongside summer-specific driving hazards—such as maintaining visibility during sudden torrential downpours and preventing tire issues caused by extreme heat—our team conducted in-depth case studies on recently reported traffic accidents nationwide (e.g., intersection safety checks and highway speed management). Rather than viewing these events from a distance, every driver participated in discussing practical countermeasures to apply directly to their daily routes.
